The Humpback whales are back in the waters of Jacaranda Bay and Watamu

Like every year, at the end of August, the most imposing creature of the oceans returns to our seas in order to complete its reproductive cycle. For years’ local fishermen have replaced traditional tuna, sailfish and dorados fishing activities with tourist excursions dedicated to whale watching and to the observation
of other species of cetaceans, including dolphins. Little whales come to light in these protected areas and stay with their mother for about two years before returning to the Antarctic through a journey of over 4000 kilometers. A regular event, every year, do not miss it. https://www.watamumarine.co.ke/whale-watching/
